About

The Ohio GIS Conference (originally known as the "First Annual Workshop") was established in 1991 by the County Engineers Association of Ohio (CEAO) and the Ohio Geographically Referenced Information Program (OGRIP)/Ohio Department of Administrative Services. With a common purpose of coordinating statewide geospatial initiatives, technology advancements, and training, the conference experienced significant growth over the years becoming what is now known as the Ohio GIS Conference™ and officially being trademarked by CEAO in 2009.

The Conference offers a space where local and state professionals can network and share information, learn from each other, and examine common interests or issues. Over the years, a Vendor Trade Show was added allowing for additional dynamic networking and collaboration of vendors & exhibitors with professional GIS users. The 2024 Conference will be our 34th Annual Conference. We hope you will join us in September and continue to support our mission of being an established statewide conference resource for GIS professionals now and into the future.
